Europe’s refugee crisis: a long journey to reach safer soil
Europe is experiencing the most significant influx of refugees since World War II.
Pushed by civil war, terror or hardship, hundreds of thousands of people have fled the Middle East and Africa. They are risking their lives along the way to Western Europe. The unprecedented scale of the crisis has put huge pressures on Greece, Hungary, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Croatia and Serbia. Dahlia traveled to the region to undertake a rapid assessment offering a snapshot of the response, including communication and information flows, revealing gaps and possible solutions.
